DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Arrival at Kigali International Airport, transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Des Mille Collines.
DAY 2: BUTARE
After breakfast transfer to Butare town where there is the Rwanda National Museum which is one of East Africa’s finest Ethnographic collection.
The Museum displays advanced Art crafts which are traditional and also provide insights into pre-colonial lifestyles and also Rwanda’s cultural lifestyles.
Lunch at a chosen Restaurant in Butare after lunch; visit the hot springs in Bugarama. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Ibis.
DAY 3: HOLY SITE.
After breakfast, for prayers and retreat, visit the kibeho Pilgrimage, a holy site where the Virgin Mary and Christ revealed themselves to several teenagers. Picnic Lunch, dinner and overnight at Hotel Ibis.
DAY 4: NYANZA
After breakfast, transfer to Nyanza town for a cultural visit to the Historical palace of the Rwandan King. Upon arrival at the palace, you will make a tour around the whole place and get to know the Rwandan traditions and cultures which lives forever.
The tour will include a visit inside and outside of Mwami’s hut and also the modern palace, and then proceed to Gatagara where you visit pottery products Dinner and overnightat Nyanza town.
DAY 5: GENOCIDE MEMORIAL SITES
Visit the genocide site of Kabgayi church. It is a huge and massice Cathedral where hundreds of people were killed.
Lunch en route as you visit the Murambi Genocide memorial site where remains of the people who were massacred from in 1994 can be observed.
Proceed to Kigali for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel des Mille Colline.
DAY 5: AZIZI LIFE
Visit the Azizi Life place in Gitarama, where you get to spend a day in the Rwandan household, as you join in with the agricultural activities and learn how to weave the Rwandan Traditional baskets and much more. Lunch at the Azizi place. Dinner and overnight at Hotel des Mille colline.
DAY 6: DEPARTURE
Depending on the time of your departure flight, you will have a short city tour and visit places like the Local African markets, handcraft shops, shopping malls for simple shopping and much more. Later you will be transfer to the Airport for your Departure flight.
